"Giving the Chance to Shine"

KS1 Open Morning – Moon Zoom!

On Tuesday this week nearly forty parents and family members came to work with their children for the morning in our hall.

Parents and children had a creative morning designing and making their very own moon buggy and we got 100% positive feedback from all the adults that attended! Our children absolutely love this topic and one parent commented that it was a shame it was only for a short time of time. We couldn’t agree more and as a result have decided that the next time KS1 children do this topic, we’ll make sure it’s in one of the longer half terms, rather than this short one, so children and families can really immerse themselves in the topic!

Other comments made by parents / family members included:

“An opportunity to spend time with my child in their school environment.”

“Really enjoyed learning about the topic my child is doing in school and loved spending time doing fun things and learning with her.”

“Enjoyed time with my daughter being creative and seeing her so excited.”

“It was brilliant enjoying this activity with my grandchild and niece”.

“Fun, creative and no mess at home!”

“Really appreciate having time to interact with my child in school.”
